I personally buy the rugs in Turkey and carefully select each rug to fit a Scandinavian home. The carpets are at least 50 years old.
Vintage carpets are dyed by hand and the color is allowed to dry in the sun for two days. The result is a blend of traditional Turkish carpet design designed for the modern home.
The mats are sturdy and stay well on the floor. Wool is a natural fiber and wool rugs are very durable and they withstand wear and tear in daily use. Wool is naturally dirt-repellent and therefore easy to keep clean. Our vintage rugs are also great for families with children and/or dogs.
A carpet is a good investment on the floor, as long as it is well taken care of.
