I personally buy the rugs in Turkey and carefully select each rug to fit a Scandinavian home. The carpets are at least 50 years old.
The mats are sturdy and stay well on the floor. Wool is a natural fiber and wool rugs are very durable and they withstand wear and tear in daily use. Wool is naturally dirt-repellent and therefore easy to keep clean. Our vintage rugs are also great for families with children and/or dogs.
The color of the carpet is original and has not been redyed. The patina of time can be seen in the colors of the carpet, in its changing shades.
A carpet is a good investment on the floor, as long as it is well taken care of.
